Privacy policy
Mockasy is a Windows program that creates print files, mockups and download PDFs from your artwork. It works on your own computer. This page explains what personal data Oleart LTD handles when you use Mockasy and this website, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Oleart LTD, a company registered in Bulgaria. You can contact us at [email protected].
What stays on your computer
Your artwork, the print files, mockups and PDFs Mockasy creates, and the program settings are stored on your computer. We do not receive them. We do not run a Mockasy account system and we do not upload your artwork to our servers.
Payments and licence
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller (merchant of record). Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing details and payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive the information needed to manage your order and licence, such as your email address, the plan you bought and the licence key. Mockasy checks your licence key with Lemon Squeezy when you activate it and from time to time afterwards. The licence key and the activation state are kept on your computer.
Optional connections you start yourself
- Dropbox and Google Drive. If you connect one of them, you sign in on the provider's own page. Mockasy receives an access token and stores it in the Windows credential store on your computer. Mockasy uses it only to upload your finished files to the folder you choose and to create sharing links you ask for. We do not see your token or your files. You can disconnect at any time in Mockasy and in the settings of the provider.
- AI image processing. Some features can send an image to OpenAI to place your artwork into a scene. This works only with an OpenAI key that you enter yourself. The image goes from your computer to OpenAI under your own agreement with OpenAI. It does not pass through our servers. Leave the key empty and no image is sent.
Error reports and update checks
Mockasy has a Report a problem button. It shows you exactly what would be sent before anything leaves your computer, and it sends nothing unless you confirm. A report can contain technical details such as the program version and Windows version, and the text you write. Please do not include artwork or personal data you do not want us to see. Update checks, where offered, request the current version number and do not include your artwork.
Website
This website is a static information page. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not use tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when the page loads. If you write to us by email, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and to meet legal obligations.
Why we use data, and for how long
- To deliver the program and manage your licence: performance of our contract with you. We keep order and licence records for as long as the licence is active and for the period required by Bulgarian accounting and tax law.
- To answer your questions and support requests: our legitimate interest in supporting customers. We keep them as long as needed to resolve the matter.
- To fix problems you report: your consent when you send a report. We delete reports when the problem is resolved.
Who receives data
Lemon Squeezy (payments and licence), and your email provider for support correspondence. Dropbox, Google and OpenAI receive data only if you choose to use those connections, and then under your own relationship with them. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers are based in or process data in the United States. They use approved safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Details are in their own policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP, cpdp.bg) or to the authority in your own country.
Children
Mockasy is for adults who sell digital art. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the website or in the program.
